Raise your hand if you're part of the work from home crew like me. I've been 100% work from home for over 5 years now. That said, I've tried working in every inch of living space possible in my home. From working in bed, in the living room at my work desk, and even outside the home at my local coffee spot. No space helped me be productive like a dedicated work space. So I'm planning for a future workspace upstairs in my home sometime this year. More on that later.
This time around, I had the opportunity to makeover my friend's office. She also works from home and this refresh was much needed. Her primary requests were that the space feel relaxing, and could be multifunctional with space for her to workout as well. Budget was important as well so some items would be staying unchanged like her desk and office chair. Everything else was up for negotiation!
